Got Video? New video editing for DonnaBrannInteriors.com

Video is a great value add for your website, emails, and social media. Some people are afraid of it, some people are bewildered by it, and some people feel like they need some crazy $Million dollar budget to create a dope ad for their business!


WHY LIVE IN FEAR OF VIDEO WHEN WE CAN MAKE IT FOR YOU!?!?!? DUH.


Seriously, it's about using your OWN iPhone or smartphone, or tablet and - using it to your advantage like I had my client, Donna Fedor-Brann do for HER video!


  1. I showed her how to shoot.

  2. Told her what aspect ratio to shoot at.

  3. Had her keep things short and sweet.

  4. Watch the lighting and make sure to either film outside in daylight or inside in lighting that is even and filled all around her - so as not to pick up on any hard shadows.

  5. And just reminded her to have fun and SHOW ALL THE FABULOUS ENERGY that she really has - as if we were kibitzing on the phone or something (she's like my favorite client) haha.

Eventually, after a few tries, Donna followed all those steps - NO FEAR! It was awesome.


Out of 8 takes I chose three of the best, and then edited in places where she either stumbled on words, forgot to say something, lost energy, or I felt like she did better somewhere in another take so I borrowed from the other footage. Watch it below!




Donna did an excellent job connecting with her viewer, showing her passion for her beliefs about interior design and definitely emotionally connects with the view, in just a few takes with not much effort at all! She also just used her phone, and designed the background (like I suggested) that would also serve as her set - which shows off her amazing design skill that she's trying to sell in he first place (at donnabranninteriors.com - I desined her website too! HAHA!)
